Manufacturing
The manufacturing process is geared to the use of two laboratory furnaces, five electric chamber furnaces and one high-temperature furnace which can be programmed with individual firing curves between 1,400°C and 1,700°C. For the production of MgO and Al2O3, several body preparation plants, various modern piston presses and tubing machines, conveyor belts, fully and semi-automatic diamond saws with extraction and compressor units are available. Various raw materials are stored in an air-conditioned warehouse. Quality is ensured by means of modern apparatus and computerised testing programs for quality and material control.
